Comments (English): We can't recommend this hostel enough. Such a very good experience for us. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet. Will return to Vietnam soon and stay again. The was was helpful and knowledgeable about the local spots to see. It's in a great location and very reasonably priced. We are happy that we have stayed there and we can recommend it to everybody.

Comments (English): It was amazing. Brand new at the beginning of July and it is picking up a very good reputation... fast. They've taken a "no expenses spared" approach to everything which gives it the feel of a plush Hotel aimed specifically at backpackers, with non of the pretentiousness that you get in Hotels, and with so many more benefits. With free pool, a rooftop bar looking over Hanoi, free Internet, Wifi, Movie Room, and breakfast, it beats the other options in Hanoi hands down at only $7.50 a night.
Everything from the wicked, funky decor, to the incredible surround sound, huge screen and soft sofas in the Movie Room has been meticulously picked out to create the perfect environment. The approach stretches beyond the big things, onto the little things. Even the placement of power sockets is spot on and the showers, two in the dorm I was in, were hot and really powerful.
Even if for some reason you decide not to stay here, it's worth checking out just to see how a hostel should be.
I met some people who booked a tour through them and they raved about them. They do all the set tours, but they specialise in custom tours. The Australians who run the place are really good at sitting down with people and finding out exactly what you want, and then creating a tailored trip.

"Air Conditioning so refreshingly cool, you actually need the thick, warm double dovet they give you." |
