our stay at this hotel was good. The receptionist was very helpful and easily upgraded our room to Dulex without any fuss. They let us use the kitchen.

The hotel is close to Patong beach and JungCeylon shopping complex. The hotel is very safe.

We would like to stay at this place if we visit Phuket again.

We stayed three nights here. It is close to the main area of Phuket (Patong beach). Best bet is to hire a scooter (200 baht for a full day - around $7 and drive around yourself. Heaps of fun!)

I was not impressed when I was charged 50 Baht for a dirty towel (on principle). I mean, its a guest house, you would imagine some towels you use will get dirty!

Also, the hotel makes a commission if you hire a taxi through them so if your planning to book through the guest house expect to pay 100 baht extra for a trip to the airport (they do not tell you this before you book).

Reception is friendly... speak good English

Me and my friends stayed 5 days and 4 nights at Chalermporn.
The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Cleanliness in guesthouse is just so perfect and the equipment seems still new. Don't worry about safety, it's just a very peaceful place to stay. 7 minutes walk to the new and large shopping mall (Jungceylon), 10 minutes away from Bangla Road (It's happening at night, pubs etc), 15 minutes to Patong Beach. 7-11 is just next door and it's very convenient.
If you're looking for budget place to stay at phuket, Chalermporn is an ideal guesthouse.
