The Charcoa house was a wonderfule place to stay. Loved it. Would go back and would reccomend it.

We stayed briefly at Charcoa House- 2 nights. Though the nearby streets were bustling, it was quiet within our street side room. There is a lovely courtyard for a drink . We did not try the restaurant. The room was small but the bed comfortable. Air conditioning was fine and a relief from outside. Good tv that had CNN, critical for our stay 2 days before the US election. Wireless internet access. Be prepared for a shower head with no shower stall-just remember to put the toilet seat down before you put the shower on! The staff was friendly and helpful.
