Spend new years 08 in Paris. On our arrival, quite disappointing as they did not have our booking! Next day we found out they didnt open their emails from "instant booking". Despite of this, they managed to give us room for 2 nights, paid taxi to another hotel which they found for us and was actually cheaper! They were very appologitic...breakfast is fine, typical french with crosans etc. Regarding location - about hour walk to eiffel tower. We used metro's. Short walk from train station...
