The 13 Coin Minburi hotel close to the Bangkok airport was great. The only negative aspect is that there are a lot of mosquitoes when you are outside. The whole area is a marshy area. The room was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. The man who picked me up from the airport was very friendly and spoke good English (the best I have heard in Thailand) I had stayed in the same hotel when I was on my way to the U.S. I live in SE Asia and this hotel was a great discovery. They were there as they had promised both times to pick me up at the airport. Great service. Breakfast is included and was very good. The other meal I had was very good also. I would really recomend this hotel to anyone unless you are having major problems with mosquitos. If the need arises I will certainly stay there again. It is not as close to the airport as they suggest. The time to allow is more aound half an hour drive. When I took a the ride the traffic was lower than average. The 300 baht that they charge for the ride is well worth it. Oh! They also had free internet. The manager introduced himself and was very helpful. I'm almost 60 years old and as I was traveling alone this time I had some apprehention but all was well.

Stay away from this place! The pictures and the ad are deceiving. On a scale of 1 to 10 the service is a 0. The rooms are dirty and smelly and no one in five nights offerred me clean towels nor a change of linen. There are no complimentary coffee nor coffee maker in the rooms but if you ask for a pitcher of warm water, you'll get it. Order room service and your food is brought to you uncovered! Mosquitoes are everywhere. If any attention is given to anything at 13 Coines Minburi, it might be the restaurant. It was so so, too hot and mosquito filled. Thailand is an interesting and beautiful country but my advice is that you would enjoy it more if you stay at a reputable Hotel - not 13 Coines.
