Hotel Residencia Mariposa is a lovely clean, fresh gem a few blocks from the main tourist area. Fresh squeezed o.j. in the morning, tea, coffee and toast got us going for the day. Breezy balcony gave us a place to rest our tired feet in the late afternoon. The neighborhood can be a bit loud at night, but you can shut your window and turn on the efficient a.c. unit to sleep.
Highly recommend it - just be sure of your reservations when you make them. They don't allow you to change them, once you've committed.
We ate at the nearby El Camello restuarant several times - loads of delicious food at a reasonable price.
