Comments (English):
Raj was so helpful before and during our arrival advising us what to see and when, so the managed to se the Taj Mahal at both surise and sunset. He arranged taxis and station transfers for us, and we very much enjoyed him joining us at the dinner table to talk about India in more depth. His wife's cooking is excellent, big breakfasts and dinners, but do note it is all vegetarian and there is no alcohol, so a couple of days when we came back from a hot day sight seeing and would have liked a cold beer, we had to make do with bottled water! The rooms are simple, but clean, both were twin bedded with an en-suite shower room and I think all other rooms were the same. Beds are traditional rajasthani style - firm bordering on hard, which we found to be the norm everywhere we travelled apart from the western chain hotels. One thing we found odd was that our rooms were not cleaned or the beds made or bins emptied throughout our three-day stay, but maybe that's the difference between a B&B and hotel in India. The advantage of being out of town is that it's quieter, but the disadvantage seems to be that the electricity is more erratic. There were long power cuts, and although there is a generator it only runs minimal lighting and ceiling fans, but there was no air-con or hot water for most of our stay. This isn't Raj's fault at all, but does make a difference if staying there when it's very hot.

Comments (English):
A very clean, comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Very friendly and helpful with lovely home cooked meals. Quiet location. The owner has a wealth of knowledge and will happily assist in suggesting what to see and when. Also will provide a car with an English speaking driver at a very reasonable price.

Comments (English):
Agra insn't the nicest place in the world so if you go there you'll want to stay somewhere good.
Garden Villa is excellent. The Gentleman who runs the business is so educated and cultured I felt almst embarassed. He speaks a dozen languages, will converse on almost any subject and made me feel honoured to stay there. You will leave there more educated than when you came.
There were a few power-cuts but it did not cause many problems.
