Comments (English): We stayed in the apartment (not the bed & breakfast) for a month in Feb/March of 2020. This is our review. I really struggled with how much to say in this review but decided to be completely honest since we rely heavily on reviews when we decide where to stay and I would have loved to know some of these things before we stayed there.
The Good; - The bed was VERY comfortable!! - The apartment is a nice size with lots of storage. - The yard is very nice, pool isn't huge but it's nice. - The location is excellent, walking distance to many restaurants as well as the square. - Lots of parking in the back parking lot. - Magda bought a few things that we asked about that the apartment was missing. - Millie the dachshund is adorable!
The Bad; - The water pressure is low in the bathroom but got a bit better after they finally realized it was plugged (with brown chunks of who knows what 🤮) and fixed it. - The water pressure in the kitchen is pretty much non existent and we never could get ANY hot water so we had to haul water from the bathroom and heat it on the stove to wash dishes. We assumed the owners didn't know about this until one day David said, "Ya, there's never been any hot water in the kitchen..." How did they expect us to wash the dishes? - We had a LOT of ants in the kitchen but they got someone to come treat for it and it worked. - We no sooner got rid of the kitchen ants and discovered more in the bedroom night table. - There were no batteries in the remotes - Missing bulbs in some of the lamps/lights - We asked for a garbage bag after we took out the garbage and were told that we needed to buy our own. - There are 4 keys that you need when you stay in the apartment (front door, back gate, door into house and door into suite). You need to carry the keys at all times, even when you are just by the pool or in the yard because the door into the house is locked all the time. This was difficult because we only had one set of keys so we had to be together all the time. - In order to get to the apartment you need to basically go through the owners house. This wouldn't be a big deal however MANY times when we would come down the stairs to leave, someone would immediately close the kitchen doors. This made us feel like we were intruding and unwelcome. A quick "good morning" would be a much better approach!
Final Verdict; The first 2 weeks were rough with ants, low water pressure, constant rules etc. We had 2 more weeks to go and a family with FOUR kids came in to the B&B. We specifically asked when we booked and their website lists very clearly that this is a no kids rental. When we mentioned it, we were told that they occasionally allow kids and that this family were only going to be sleeping there. Unfortunately this wasn't true and there was a lot of noise from the kids.
We would have left and stayed somewhere else (I even found another place with availability) but since we had already paid for the whole month up front, we couldn't justify paying for another place. The price is decent and we weren't expecting a 5 star resort, however I didn't expect to feel like I was camping, having to haul water and heat on the stove just to wash dishes.
So if you can live with the things I've described, go ahead and book this apartment! There are a lot of good things about it!

Comments (English): This is a hidden little gem. It is right downtown, well within walking distance from the ferry. The door is right off the street but once they let you in you are in a fabulous little walled estate. It's a little oasis unto itself. Nice, quiet and clean inside. David and Magda are the perfect hosts. They were friendly and there to talk when needed but unintrusive. We liked the privacy too. There is a pleasant little area to relax by the garden and pool area. We stayed 3 days but I think I would have liked to stay at least another 2. David took us to a great little dive shop, close by called Studio Blue. We also rented scooters and went around the island. That was nice too, but it does take longer than it looks. Allow a full day. Coming back in the dark is no fun. This is a reasonably priced great place to stay. Just book early if you can in busy season.
