We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this peaceful hotel. The room was large and immaculately clean, the evening meal was delicious and the service friendly but unobtrusive. Would definitely stay again.

I have researched about 20 hotels and tour operators offering safari to the White Desert from Bawiti and I consider myself very lucky to find the Desert Rose Eco Lodge. My communications with the owner, who speaks perfect English, were easiest and the most pleasant among all I had with hotels and agencies during booking. I got quotes from several hotels/tour operators but overall best deal (hotel+food+ private transportation from and to Cairo+two day safari to the White Desert) was from Desert Rose. The room was spacious, clean and had a nice real bed, not a stone slab like I saw in other local hotels, new linens and towels. The bathroom was as in the normal US hotels and the best I saw during my entire trip to the western desert. Food was very fresh; dates were picked from a palm right before breakfast. The owner was brutally honest about what was worth seeing in the White Desert. I tailored safari per his recommendations and was able to spend time in the most interesting and authentic places in the desert and the Bahariya Oasis. I would highly recommend this hotel and their safari to anyone interested in seeing the best in the White and Black desert as well as in the Oasis.
