Firstly I must say that the staff in this hotel is the nicest people I have ever dealt with.
We travel abroad every 12 weeks and stay mainly in Europe so we have a good grasp of hotels and accommodation standards which we think are sound and realistic.
the hotel is being painted so every wall i.e. corridor,bedroom etc is smelling of paint also if you imagine portuguise painters at 8.30-9am shouting and laughing it dosent make for a relaxing break.
But and I say but the most awful thing is the fact that they are replacing all the windows and patio doors so the noise is dreadful we tried putting the TV on one morning but it droned it out being 2 floors above.
The breakfast is great again with great staff but every hotel in Porto that we stayed in had great breakfast.
We complained about the noise and got a 15% discount so if you do stay then get money off at least. The balconies were dirty and dust well what you think
Our room is the smallest double with the smallest bathroom and shower we have ever stayed in.

Staff is very friendly & helpful. Rooms are small and clean only the bed was very bad. Perfect location to stay at if your're visiting Porto for a weekend!
