Comments (English): I can thoroughly recommend visiting this delightful village. This is the REAL SPAIN going back in time by many years. The beautiful countryside of the Alpujarra & the Contraviesa, where Polopos is situated, are much to be enjoyed by old & young alike. It was great to get away from the tourist hordes and Casa Nicolar, & Polopos, offer a comfortable & peaceful haven for serious travellers. Great food, great wine, great scenery, great people. I am very much looking forward to coming here again.

Comments (English): Can thoroughly recommend this place & the accommodation. The village itself is charming, old-world, non-touristy with a great supply of wine produced locally each year. Casa Nicolar is great too - every effort made to provide comfort in this lovely rural setting. Rooms clean & tidy, food to die for, and Sat. TV & cups of tea available when you wish.
I will definitely visit again
