The mattresses are good, the staff is very friendly, the hotel is in a good location.
End of the good sides, now the story.

Night one
Me and my mate arrived at the hotel, to be informed that they overbooked, so we had to go to another place (provided by the staff).
Not a good start.

Night two and three:
We finally get into our room the second day.
As we open the door, a bad furnished room shows up to our eyes with a deep smell of fustiness.
It wouldn't be much of a fuss, but not only the furnishment was low quality, there was also wallpaper coming off the wall and mold in the corners.
The heater made loud dripping sound, luckily no water coming out, and some wires were showing.
The walls were so thin you had too much information of what people in other rooms were doing (if you get what i mean).
The lights in the room were really low and you had difficulties in seeing at night.
The tapestry on the floor was clearly old and full of stains.
The bathroom was dark, bad aired (if any, cause it had no windows), with mold in some places and a very short supply of soap was available.
Breakfast was decent, but nothing special, i think the standard you can have in .

Definitely not worth the price we paid.

It was not bad. Especially I was very satisfied with the breakfast. One thing I really didn't like is that I had to go up and down with my heavy luggage without using an elevator. I don't know why it was not working. Still I think it was nice for the price. And I want to recommend Hotel Darcet for those who want to stay near Montmarte, Paris.

it was nice stay.
BUT you need to remember the price shows what you will get. and this thoery can be applied into all hotels in Frace.
Staffs are friendly and nice. Rooms are clean. Breckfast is pretty:) and good.
I was very satisfied because i can use wifi in my room for free.

hotel Darcet is located in very nice place, under the montmartre in the centre. It is guite fine hotel,quality of accomodation depends on room which you get. Can be small and fine or big and cold. But we were very satisfied. Good money, good locality, fine service, only bathroom could be more clean!!! But as I said, our friend have for the same price new clean bathroom but cold room and we have warm room and terrible old bathroom. But if you are not demanding, it is good choice!!!

Fue muy bueno el trato del personal en el hotel, muy amables. Muy buen servicio en general, las habitaciones muy cómodas y excelente el desayuno. Si vuelvo a Paris seguramente me hospedaré en el hotel Darcet y desde luego lo recomendaré.

- they have not prepared room for us, we had to wait (3 hours)
- they waked-up me at 11 p.m. by hotel phone when I was in bed, that I have to pay the bill immediately, because tomorrow morning there will nobody able to handle with card reader.
- the room was acceptable, but big long fractures in roof
- bathroom terrible
- no more.
