Consistent with booking agent's recommendation I tried to contact the guesthouse to confirm the booking via e-mail with no response. Then tried via phone again . . . no response. Did a bit more research and it appears this place is closed

Nem se pode chamar a isto uma pensão. É só uma casa em que alugam 4 quartos e o em que fiquei era mau. lençóis mal lavados e rasgados. O atendimento é péssimo e praticamente inexistente e a sauna é um local com fraca higiene e mal equipada. Resumindo: quem está à espera de encontrar uma sauna decente em Albufeira e pernoitar, que desista e vá a Sevilha onde encontra pensões decentes a bom preço e boas saunas.

Bad Service.
Bad Cleaning.
Noisy.
The sauna is not a real sauna and the majority of he things dont work.

The sauna is tiny and in the worst conditions of hygiene and conservation.
The only two showers are broken and you can hardly sprinkle yourself.
The jacuzzi is a portable model with broken controls and COLD WATER!!
The sauna is small and can hardly accommodate two people at the same time.
Everything is narrow and the ceilings are very low, only acceptable for non-claustrophobic, short people.
On top of everything the person in charge is rude and charges you extra if you are a foreigner and spite of the price being displayed on the wall!
Cabins are just 2 meters by 1 and only contain a thin mattress on the floor.
Absolutely a must avoid!

Most of wht is mentioned in this add is not true, the rooms have not half the amenities described here.
Rude Staff and owner, location by a main road with noise all day and night

Really nice stay in this gay only appartment.
Free entrance sauna.
Bus stop around the corner.
