Before arrival at this hotel, the management already suggested that we - a party of 56 persons-rather stay at a "better" hotel.
If this was indeed so, I would not know, as I refused and insisted we stay at The Hanoi Plaza.
I am pleased with our decision, as this hotel was in a very good location in Hanoi in the "old Quarter".
The rooms were adequate. The Breakfasts were poor, but for the price we paid, we did not really expect better. The staff were always very friendly, and we could exchange money at the reception at reasonable rates.
Lylie, the tour operator at the hotel, was very efficient and most helpful.
She arranged transfers, train tickets, tours and cyclo rides for us. They even took us to the train station upon departure.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
